According to Ed Slott, taxes can cut your retirement funds in half. Join us on Zoom to learn what people in all stages of retirement need to know.

Taxes can cut your retirement funds in half, according to Ed Slott, CPA, the nationally recognized IRA and retirement planning expert and author of the forthcoming book, The New Retirement Savings Time Bomb: How to Take Financial Control, Avoid Unnecessary Taxes, and Combat the Latest Threats to Your Retirement Savings.

Join us on Zoom for a workshop with Mr. Slott as he discusses what people in all stages of retirement planning need to know to keep their money and pass it on to their families, as detailed in his book. Slott, who also writes a column answering consumers’ retirement planning questions for AARP, was called “the best source of IRA advice” by The Wall Street Journal.

The New Retirement Savings Time Bomb can be purchased at The Book Stall here or by calling 847-446-8880. Additional retirement resources can be found in the library's catalog.

This program will be held virtually on Zoom and registration is required.  If you’re new to Zoom, follow this link for step-by-step instructions or call 847.245.5115.
