Each June, libraries and publishers celebrate Audiobook Appreciation Month to encourage new listeners to discover the medium. Join us to celebrate audiobook month as we welcome award-winning narrator Julia Whelan, narrator of more than 400 audiobooks. Whelan has won numerous awards, including the 2019 Best Female Narrator for Tara Westover's Educated. Audiofile Magazine named her one of its Golden Voices. Recently she narrated The New York Times bestselling audiobook The Four Winds, by Kristin Hannah. Among the fastest growing areas of the publishing industry, audiobooks are also a favorite of library staff.
