Eyes contain 70% of our sensory receptors and 90% of the information our brain processes on a daily basis comes from what we see. When we talk about literacy, we often refer to reading and writing. However, similar to language skills there’s syntax to understanding and interpreting visual perception and to use it as a communication tool in and of itself.
