Traditional yoga poses don't always work for those who suffer from back pain, which is why modifications are essential to a successful practice. In this workshop, we will also learn how to strengthen the muscles in the low back to relieve pain. Taught by Linda Benton, Low Back and Scoliosis Certified Yoga Therapist.
Please bring 2 bath towels/blankets or a yoga mat and strap if you have them.
Linda’s personal yoga practice and teaching began in early 2000. She has been Pilates certified and teaching Pilates for 20+ years. She is one of less than a dozen teachers in the US that is a Certified Yoga Therapist for Scoliosis & Back Care Trainer and Advanced ScolioPilates practitioner. She insists on perfection and holds a deep therapeutic yoga and anatomy knowledge base in her teachings.
