It's the library in hangout mode; a book club with a twist, held at Timothy O'Toole's in Lake Villa.

Get comfortable, meet new people and talk about books! You buy the drinks; appetizers are provided.

This month’s title is Kaikeyi by Vaishnavi Patel.

Kaikeyi discovers a magic that is hers alone in the texts she once read with her mother. But as the demons of her childhood stories threaten the cosmic order, Kaikeyi must decide if resistance is worth the destruction it will wreak.

Copies of the print book will be available at the Circulation Desk.

First established in 1949, Lake Villa District Library serves Lake Villa Township and those who live within the township’s boundaries; including the communities of Lake Villa, Lindenhurst, portions of Round Lake Beach, Round Lake Heights and Antioch. The population served is approximately 40,000.
